If Words Could Transend Time

If I had only one wish...
If I could dream again...
It would be... to tell you... to warn you...

All of my days silently gone by...
All of these tears silently forgotten...
All because of words that couldn't be said...

If words could transend time I'd warn you...
If they'd only heed my only wish I'd tell you...
But all of these things, betrayed to me...
All of those words... could never be said.

You didn't know me....
I didn't know you...
But if these words could reach you...
I'd tell them to you.

But sadly... my words can't reach you.
Sadly... they couldn't reach you....

The words that could transend time are fatal....
These precious words twist and tear at your fate...
But wouldn't it be nice...
Wouldn't it have been oh so nice to know...
That it was comming? That you shouldn't go?

Oh how I wish words could transend time...
But those words that transend time are not real.
A figment, an illusion...
A little breath in time....

My words... my life...
They could never transend time... never...
